Insomnia + headache = deadly combo.
In certain situations though insomia would be a positive. For instance if the fire alarm were to go off because someone lit the trash-chute on fire and you had to evacuate the building, you would be less pissed off than if you were happily sleeping.
SoCal gets cold in the middle of the night.
